The regulatory frameworks around the world surrounding AI are a charming tapestry of inconsistency. Various countries and regions have been dreaming up their own, collaborating, or acting insane.

There are equally no shortage of frameworks for development, evaluation, and deployment in health – so, here’s another one!

The selling features of this one are that it includes 117 experts from 50 countries, and takes the health AI lifecycle down to 30 specific recommendations. A high-level overview of their best practices looks a bit like this:

There is obviously a lot of commonality between this and previously published work. As new versions surface, the more they appear to be collections of each prior framework’s best ideas – and that’s a good thing.
